For this style, we took inspiration from San Francisco’s majestic Muir Woods and Muir Beach, and the dance of shadows amongst the towering redwoods and the ocean dunes. There’s also a little nod to SF’s storied Haight-Asbury district in the form of our playful swirl effect. Note, this is a hard structured hat.
Handwoven in Cuenca Ecuador, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for their toquilla straw weaving traditions. Each hat is unique and woven by a single artisan, often taking months to complete. We are proud to make in this region—home to some of the finest straw weavers in the world.
Each hat features an adjustable sweatband to achieve the perfect fit.
